Hummus
1 tsp garlic powder
2 cups canned garbanzo, drained
2 tsp salt
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup water
2 lemons squeezed (1/2 cup)
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tsp cumin powder
zest of 1 lemon
Add all of the ingredients to the food processor and process until the hummus is pureed.
Sprinkle with paprika, Serve with toasted pita.
Variations:
- - Add 2 tablespoons red pepper paste.
- - Add 2 tablespoons pesto.
